An overview of the process is described below:

Chapter Six – Relationships and their importance – Three categories of relationships. Which relationships will be most helpful in your employment search?

Chapter Seven – Marketing strategies to consider in your employment search? What are they and what are their pros and cons?

Chapter Eight – Networking – Four networking options to consider. Why they are important? Factors to consider in implementing them in your employment search.

Chapter Nine – Resumes – How to construct an effective resume. What should be included? What should be excluded? How to minimize the impact of age bias against professionals over 45 years of age? How to maximize the impact of your resume in getting you invited for an interview.

Chapter Ten – Cover letter writing – What is the purpose for a cover letter? What are the pros and cons? How to format a cover letter. Content recommendations.

Chapter Eleven – Interviews – How to prepare for face-to-face interviews, virtual interviews, and telephone interviews. Questions you should be prepared to answer. Questions you should be prepared to ask. How to make a good first impression. How to wrap up the interview in ways that will greatly increase your chance of getting the job. If you are an executive seeking new employment, how should you adjust your interview strategy to get better results.

Chapter Twelve – Follow-Up: The interview is over. What you should be doing now and when.
